How to create a Subdomain
Sub domains are very good way to separate big sections of your website. A sub domain when typed in a browser would look like: name.yoursite.com. To add a sub domain to your site, please do the following:
- Click Sub domains
- In the first empty box, input the beginning section for which you would like to add to your domain.
- In the drop down menu to the right of input you provided , select a domain for which you would like the sub domain to be created for.
- Click the add Button
- Congrats , you have now just created a subdomain. When you type the sub domain in a browser it will now mask "http://youdomain/folder/" to "folder.domain.com."
- A folder will be created inside your “public_HTML” folder for which you can upload the files for the subdomain.
You have now just added a subdomain successfully.
